“Life’s a journey…Everyone needs a guide sometimes”

Therapy is not about me "fixing" you, it’s about working together in helping you find your own truth to face your challenges. I will not sit quietly and just say “I see” or “tell me more”. I will be engaged in exploring how your experiences and self-awareness can guide you to a deeper understanding of yourself. I have 30
years experience as a therapist, educator and writer, but more importantly I have been on my own path of healing. Therapy is about having a safe space to
explore the things in your life that are blocking you from being your best self. Let me be your guide on this journey.

Mindfulness-Based (MBCT)
Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) combines cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness strategies in order to help individuals better understand and manage their thoughts and emotions in order to achieve relief from feelings of distress.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a common type of talk therapy (psychotherapy) in a structured way, attending a limited number of sessions. CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
is future-focused, goal-directed, and focuses on solutions, rather than on the problems that brought clients to seek therapy. SFT is a hope friendly, positive emotion eliciting, future-oriented vehicle for formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS® is frequently used as an evidence-based psychotherapy, helping people heal by accessing and healing their protective and wounded inner parts. IFS® creates inner and outer connectedness by helping people first access their Self and, from that core, come to understand and heal their parts.
Imago Relationship Therapy
is a form of relationship and couples therapy that focuses on transforming conflict into healing and growth through relational connection. Couples can understand each other’s feelings and “childhood wounds” more empathically, allowing them to heal themselves and their relationships and move toward a more “Conscious Relationship.”
